When the chefs arrived at Hell's Kitchen, the doors were locked, and they noticed that Ramsay was on the roof. Then, he said that in order to see if the chefs were 100% committed, they would jump onto an air mattress from the roof, but wanted to leave right away. While she was more eager to jump after seeing Enrique and Ruth doing it, Ramsay revealed that it was not necessary as those two were stunt people, and asked the chefs to cook their signature dishes.

During the Signature Dish Challenge, Meghan said that she cooked her signature dish about 1000 times and that she would kill herself if she would fuck it up. She was the fifth person from the red team to have her dish judged by Ramsay and went up against Milly. She made a rainbow trout, Ramsay heavily praised for being stunning, and she scored the first ever perfect five. Despite that, the red team lost the challenge 28-31, and they were punished by resetting the dining room for the opening night and sealing confirmation letters in envelopes.

During dinner service, Meghan was on the appetizer station with Alison. At one point, Sous Chef Andi sent her to the garnish station after Chrissa was completely lost, she said that the latter was way out of her element, and believed that they could do better without her in the kitchen. Her prediction came true as the women continued to push appetizers to the diners. Later, she found out that the oven Christine was using was not hot enough, told her to use the convection oven, and discovered that Monique’s oven was off the entire time. The red team lost the service and were asked to nominate two people for elimination.

She was not nominated for elimination.[1]

During part one, she was on a boat with T, Michelle, and Chrisitne, they were seen struggling to launch their boat into the water, and later, they struggled with trying to paddle to their destination. During part two, she was paired with Alison, and they were seen getting two of their attempts accepted. The red team won the challenge 10-7, and they were rewarded with a trip to Scottsdale, Arizona, traveling through cactus trails by horseback, and a dinner at the Four Seasons Resort.

During prep, Meghan felt that Mieka did not have as much experience as the rest of them after seeing her confused, but was willing to find out what would happen. During dinner service, she was on the fish station. She was not seen much, except for telling Mieka that it was not rocket science after the latter was struggling on garnish, and the red team won the service.[2]

Episode 3[]

During the Alaskan Fish Challenge, Meghan said that she did not like fish as they freaked her out. She was paired with T, freaked out over the headless fish T was holding, and they got their trout pieces accepted on their second attempt. They were the first pair from the red team to have their dishes judged, and they went up against Bret and Brendan from the red team. She made a chopped trout in tomato coquille, and while it was praised for its beautiful presentation, she lost that round to the blue team. The red team eventually won the challenge 3-1, and they were rewarded with a trip to the Manhattan Beaches, got surfing lessons from surfer Anastasia Ashley, and eating lunch.

During dinner service, Meghan was on the meat station. At one point, she tried to help Mieka out on the risotto, and accused her and Christine of not knowing how to cook in a line after the two struggled on appetizers. On their last ticket, she complained that she did not train for two years to have a fucking asshole not keep up with risotto, referring to Mieka. Then, she knew that Sarah's puppy dog look would not fly in the kitchen after the latter asked for another chance, and called her a dumbass after the red team got kicked out of the kitchen. Both teams were named joint-losers and were asked to nominate two each.

She was not nominated for elimination.[3]

Episode 4[]

Main article: Episode 1404 - 15 Chefs Compete

During the American Classics Challenge, Meghan was paired with Mieka on the burger, and she admitted how nervous she was as comfort food was not really her strongest skill. She was the second person from the red team to have her dish judged and went up against Randy. She made a spicy lamb burger, it was praised for being tasty, despite David Burke comparing it to a gyro on a hamburger bun, and she scored over Randy. The red team won the challenge after a tiebreaker at 4, and they were rewarded with a trip to Long Beach and rode on the historic American Pride yacht. When Ramsay told the women to show some unity, she took it to heart.

During the Family Night dinner service, Meghan was on the dessert station. She was not seen much, except for showing annoyance at Mieka's constant questions about her steak, and said that she was not there to babysit. During the International Cheese Challenge, Meghan went up against Milly, and their dish was enchiladas. During the cooking, she called Sarah fucking nuts for adding pistachio to her lasagna as it was not traditional. She was the second person from the red team to have her dish judged by Ramsay and presented her shrimp and chorizo enchilada with Colby cheese. Ramsay deemed it the best dish he has tasted so far, and she scored that round over Milly. The red team won the challenge 5-4, and they were rewarded with a trip to Marina Del Ray and a Jet Ski activity at the ocean. During the reward, she revealed that despite her liking to go fast, she never Jet Skied before.

During dinner service, Meghan was on the appetizer station with Sarah. At the start of service, she realized that Sarah was missing a lot of ingredients on her cavatelli, and commented that the latter had no idea what the fuck was going on. So, she helped Sarah out, and her dish was accepted. Later, she asked Monique for a time on her garnishes, and after the latter sent up poor spinach, she annoyingly remarked that Monique should know how to cook by that point and that the red team would be screwed if the latter would stall them. When Monique continued to struggle, she decided to help her by taking full control of the garnish station, and because of her great help, food was leaving the kitchen. The red team lost the service and were asked to nominate two people for elimination.

Episode 6[]

Main article: Episode 1406 - 13 Chefs Compete

Back in the dorms, Meghan reluctantly agreed to help Sarah out on reviewing the menu, even though she knew that growing stronger would not take ten minutes.

During the Firefighter Service Challenge, Meghan was on the garnish station. At one point, she decided to help Sarah out as they were two chicken behind the men, and thanks to her leadership, the red team was able to send out food and were on their final two tickets.

The red team lost the challenge, and they were punished by detailing the fire engines outside the front entrance and prepping 400 chicken wings for the following service. During the punishment, she was frustrated that she had to carry her teammates, who she considered dead weight, and called their defeat embarrassing. Then, she got annoyed when her teammates made sexual comments while cleaning up the fire engines. Later, she was still upset by their loss as she did not like to fail, and how her teammates were making her look like a moron. However, her negativity annoyed Alison, and when she left to the back pantry, the red team followed her with T asking what was wrong. Then, she yelled that she would nominate herself if it meant not being embarrassed by their poor performance, only for Alison to rudely tell her to quit then. After, Sous Chef Andi brought the women back to the kitchen, and while she said that while she was not a quitter, she threatened to lose it if the red team lost another service.

During prep, Ramsay called Meghan over to the back pantry for a bit. Knowing her frustration, Ramsay told her that she was a prime leader that was emerging in the red team, and that pep talk boosted her confidence. During dinner service, she was on the garnish station with Sarah. At one point, she found that Sarah’s pan was too cold to cook on, and barked out orders to the latter, despite Alison feeling that she was not talking to Sarah as a person. However, while she admitted that she was not a bully outside of the kitchen, she knew she could be a bitch in service as she wanted to succeed. Later, she continued to be a strong leader and communicated with Alison on meat, and while T felt that she was making them feel like minions due to her position as an Executive Chef, and Michelle feeling that she should not have been that bitchy to them, entrées were being coordinated perfectly, and they were pushing food out. The red team won the service, and she compared their success to good sex as they really needed it.[6]

During the Greek Cuisine Challenge, Meghan went up against Milly, and their dish was squid. She was the third person from the red team to have her dish judged and presented her squid with walnut purée. It was praised for being a solid dish up a level, and she received 9 points. The red team eventually lost the challenge 40-41, and they were punished by cleaning up both the dining room and the kitchens for the following service. During the punishment, she got annoyed by Sarah's constant questions about a power outlet as they themselves did not know where they were.

During dinner service, Meghan was on the appetizer station with T. After Alison's overcooked lobster fiasco, she called it an amateur one. Then, she got annoyed by Christine's poor performance on garnish, said that garnishes should not be that difficult as it was reheating vegetables, and decided to help the latter out. Her leadership on garnish allowed the women to send out entrées, but when Sarah sent up poor meat, she said that the latter should have learned how to cook before coming to Hell’s Kitchen.

The red team lost the service and were asked to nominate two people for elimination. During deliberation, Meghan reminded Christine how simple the garnish station should have been as a professional kitchen always had garnishes ready in two minutes, and reminded Alison that she should have taken over the moment Christine struggled.

Meghan was not nominated for elimination, and after elimination, she believed that the red team would be in better shape without Sarah, but knew that it was time to step up.[7]

Episode 8[]

Main article: Episode 1408 - 11 Chefs Compete

While going back to the dorms, Meghan believed that with Sarah gone, the dead weight from the red team was gone, and felt that they would be stronger without the crazies.

During the Alcohol Challenge, Meghan knew what she was doing already as it never failed her before. She was the final person from the red team to have her dish judged and went up against Josh from the blue team. She made pan-seared duck breast and a calvados baked apple brandy gastric, and while was praised for its stunning presentation, Marino felt that it was missing some acidity, Ramsay said that the calvados was raw, and she received 9 points. Episode 9[]

Main article: Episode 1409 - 9 Chefs Compete

Before the Exotic Protein Challenge, Meghan said that she would have a mental breakdown if she was forced to touch any of the live animals, and when rubber snakes fell on the chefs, she annoyingly threatened to use her teammates as a shield if it would happen again. She picked wild boar as her dish and went up against Josh. During the cooking, Michelle asked her if she knew what to do with alligator, but she said that she did not. She was the second person from the red team to have her dish judged and presented her seared boar with vegetables. It was deemed safe by Jon Shook, Vinny Dotolo criticized the dish for tasting both salty and flat, she scored 8 points, and she was disappointed to have served safe food to chefs that she deemed rock stars.

The red team lost the challenge 33-34, and they were punished by deep cleaning both kitchens and drink a protein shake with some of the leftover protein from the challenge mixed in. Back in the dorms, Meghan complained that she would have loved to have the judges rate their dishes higher. During the punishment, she said that while the milkshakes looked delicious, she knew that things were not what they appeared to be in the competition. Then, she described her shake as a chunky fish shake with other proteins inside it.

During the Progress Report, Meghan was the fifth person to be called down to Ramsay's office. He recalled some of her incredible dishes but warned her that playing it safe would not move her forward. She was not deemed the weakest chef from the red team by her teammates, and therefore did not compete in the Cook For Your Life Challenge.[9]

Episode 10[]

Main article: Episode 1410 - 8 Chefs Compete

Back in the dorms, Meghan talked with Josh about how shit was getting real, and when he said that they had to earn their leadership in the competition, she disagreed with as she felt leaders could take what they want, despite saying that she has been called every name in the book.

During the Homecoming Planning Challenge, Meghan decided to step it up, and made her own pasta, despite knowing that making fettuccine in 35 minutes was risky. She was the second person from the red team to have her dish judged, and went up against Randy. She presented her fresh chive fettuccine with cream sauce and sausage, she revealed that she made fresh pasta for it, and after Max said that it was the dish that wowed him the most in terms of presentation, the dish was praised for not being overly spicy, being colorful, but criticized for a lackluster sauce. Despite that, she won that round over Randy. The red team lost the challenge 1-2, and they were punished by decorating the dining room for the next service, based on the committee’s directions, and string 200 bead necklaces together.

During prep, Meghan instructed Alison on how to properly make the pasta, but the latter deemed her aggravating, and that she had enough of her poor people skills. During the Homecoming Dance dinner service, she was on the appetizer station. At one point, she took over Michelle’s meat station without the latter’s knowledge, who was relocated on garnish, much to her frustration as she was getting pushed around a lot. Despite Michelle trying to tell her that she was assigned to meat by Ramsay, she rudely told her to stay on garnish. Then, T asked her for an opinion on her snapper, and when the former's snapper was too dark to serve, she said that fish cooking took finesse. The red team won the service.

During elimination, Meghan was transferred to the blue team, being exchanged by Josh. After, Ramsay told her to whip the blue team into shape with her leadership.[10]

Episode 11[]

During the Blind Taste Test, Meghan was spared from the dunk tank during Milly's turn. She was the third person from the blue team to compete and went up against Michelle. She scored three points as she got potato, egg whites, and macadamia nuts, and saved Milly from the dunk tank. During the tiebreaker at 9, she was sent to the dunk tank twice.

The blue team lost the challenge and were punished by rearranging the dining room for two twelve top tables and making sangria. Meghan declared that it was not the best start for herself on the blue team, and did not feel good about losing. During the punishment, she believed that she broke the record for most challenges lost, believed that the punishments were following her on both teams, and wondered if she was bad luck. As they were prepping fruit for the sangrias, the red team walked by, she said that Josh could go fuck himself. When the red team came back from their reward, she was extremely disappointed that she did not get to go as she could have spent $500 in 15 minutes, before stating that losing the challenge sucked.

During the closed charity dinner service, Meghan oversaw the New York striploin course, and she managed to get her course out with no problem. While clearing down, she reminded Randy that he had to pay attention as a chef after he confronted them about the extra plate incident. The blue team won the service.

During elimination, Meghan was shocked when Ramsay decided to eliminate Randy from the winning team.[11]

Episode 12[]

Main article: Episode 1412 - 7 Chefs Compete

Back in the dorms, Meghan agreed with Josh that he had to get his shit together, and believed that the latter’s problem was being frazzled in the kitchen. So, she brought him down to the patio, and despite knowing that the latter had the potential and could listen to her, she felt that he himself did not know his capabilities. Then, she told Josh not to get up in the drama, and let everybody else fall over it.

During the King of The Hill Challenge, Meghan got porterhouse steak from her locker, and during the cooking, she said that she loved steak, and wanted to give a lot of love into her meat. She was the fourth chef to have her dish judged, was very confident in her chances, and presented her seared porterhouse with red wine demi sauce mushrooms. Ramsay praised the dish for being mouth melting and declared that her dish was good enough to dethrone T on the chair. She would later survive Alison and Nick's dishes. During Michelle's turn, she knew that the former had an awesome palate and could cook, and while it made her a little nervous, she believed that her steak was the best and that Michelle’s flank steak could not beat her. However, Michelle managed to dethrone her, and the blue team lost the challenge.

The blue team was punished by taking in a delivery of 250 pounds of beef sides, break it down for the following service, and Ramsay remarked that Meghan has lost seven challenges in a row. At the patio, she sarcastically thanked Ramsay for rubbing that in for her, told Milly and Nick that she thought they were going to win and was just in shock she lost to mango salsa and steak. During the punishment, she still thought that she should have won that challenge over Michelle, but Nick told her to shut up.

During the Steak Night dinner service, Meghan was on the fish and grilling stations. At one point, she revealed that she had fourteen steaks going all at once, and said that there was a lot of shit going on. Then, she sent up raw New York striploin, Ramsay was shocked that she of all people would make that mistake, and Nick was surprised as he had never seen her truly mess up. Despite getting her refire accepted, she was still in shock over her earlier mistake but knew that she had it. When the blue team completed service, Ramsay gave them the first three black jackets, and later, were ordered to help the red team complete service. The blue team won the service, and both teams were asked to nominate two chefs from the red team.[12]

Episode 13[]

Main article: Episode 1413 - 6 Chefs Compete

During the Taste It Now Make It Challenge, Meghan was paired up with Josh, although she was confident in her partner’s palate. They used halibut, sake, and lobster in order to recreate Ramsay's dish. During the judging, she said that she really wanted to win in order to get out of Hell’s Kitchen. They lost the challenge as their fish protein was incorrect. They were punished by participating in recycling day, and make 150 pounds of mashed potatoes for the Midnight Mission. During the punishment, she revealed that she never recycled before, and said that it was something she did not want to do.

During dinner service, Meghan was on the appetizer station with Michelle. At one point, she was forced to restart her order due to Nick's stone-cold lobster tail, which annoyed as she did not think they had to do it at the final six but was able to get the refire accepted. While working on Tatum O'Neal's order, she noticed Michelle's slow speed, despite acknowledging the latter's finesse and technique, and when Michelle's tuna was cold, she warned her to get it together. After, she and Michelle brought up their dishes to O'Neal's table. When Josh's station caught on fire, she was able to control it by reducing the temperature and called him frazzled. When T and Josh were in an argument, she got fearful that the former was going to kill the latter.

After service, Ramsay asked the final six to nominate two people for elimination. During deliberation, Meghan noted that it was going to get hard, reminded Michelle on her plate incident, and when the latter admitted to having a brain fart, she reminded her that amateur hour was over.

She was not nominated for elimination.[13]

Episode 14[]

Main article: Episode 1414 - 5 Chefs Compete

Back in the dorms, Meghan recalled how T’s station caught on fire during the ninth dinner service at the hot tub.

Before the Musicians Portions Challenge, Meghan called the music beautifully and soothing, but also knew that being in Hell’s Kitchen meant being prepared for anything, which was soon proven true. She made lamb chop lollipops and wanted it to be perfect. While serving her dishes, she struggled to describe her dish as she was not huge on being in the dining room, and after one guest criticized the lamb for being under-seasoned, she groaned that she wanted to die. She lost the challenge to Milly as she only received 18% of the votes, which upset her.

Meghan was punished by taking deliveries of peppercorn, separate them by color, and grind them by hand with a mortar. During the punishment, she was upset that she was about to do her ninth punishment in a row, would have liked to have gone on a helicopter ride, and stated that she wanted to get the hell out of Hell’s Kitchen. Later, she called Nick annoying due to the latter's complaints. When T and Milly came back from their reward, she still thought that the latter should have taken her for the reward as she was the runner-up.

During prep, Meghan noticed that Michelle's pot was starting to smell. During dinner service, she was on the appetizer station. During Milly's turn as Sous Chef, she considered him a good competitor but had never seen him as a Sous Chef before. She was the third person to perform as Ramsay's Sous Chef, and while she knew that the Sous Chef position was high stress, she was confident as she was used to running a pass before. She rejected Nick's Wellingtons for being dry and overcooked, and after Milly's scallops were overcooked, she felt that she was cooking with amateurs, and not black jackets. After her turn was over, she took over the garnish station from T.

After service, Ramsay asked the final five to nominate two people for elimination. During deliberation, Meghan considered Nick as her first nominee, and after a while, considered Michelle as her second as she refused to vote for Milly, and called it process of elimination. However, Nick told he to at least have the balls to tell Michelle to her face, and the latter accused her and Milly of nominating her based on that mindset. Then, she revealed that she did not want to vote for Milly as, despite his poor performance that night, she considered him a rock star in the kitchen and felt that Michelle was hard to work with.

Meghan was not nominated for elimination, and when Ramsay asked her why Michelle was nominated, she claimed that the latter did not communicate well. However, Ramsay told the chefs that unless they were witnessing a different service in a different kitchen, he found that decision completely bizarre, ridiculous and that it completely reflected them in a negative light.[14]

Episode 15[]

Main article: Episode 1415 - 4 Chefs Compete

The next day, the final four were sent to the SUV’s for a field trip, Meghan said that she could not remember the last time she left the restaurant as she lost nine challenges in a row, and was excited to at least go out somewhere for a bit. During the Vegetarian Budget Challenge, she was looking at different ingredients but admitted that she had no idea what the fuck she was doing, and was putting her dish together in her head as she was going on. During the cooking, announced that she was thinking about a zucchini angel hair pasta dish, and was feeling good about the dish she had in her had. She was the third person to have her dish judged by Ramsay and presented her zucchini angel hair pasta with Napa cabbage, dumplings, and coconut broth. Ramsay praised her for lifting the zucchini from being such a boring vegetable, loved the idea of the pasta, and said that the dish had finesse. She won the challenge, and after Ramsay noted that she finally won a challenge, she decided to pick T to come with her.

They were rewarded with a private ride on a motorboat in Newport Beach, received a parasailing experience, and ate at the Studio at the Montage Lagoon Beach for a three-course dinner. While Meghan was not a fan of the ocean and heights, she called leaving Hell’s Kitchen a reward on its own. During the reward, she was completely terrified before leaving on the boat but called parasailing a lot of fun. During dinner, she felt that she deserved her reward.

Before service, Meghan received a visit from her mother, felt that seeing her was a great reward and that it made up for the nine previous losses. During dinner service, she was on the fish station. She was the second person to run the pass and called herself a badass as she had been running the pass since she was twenty. She kept pushing out times, and rejected Milly's risotto for lacking mascarpone, and declared that it was not amateur hour anymore. After, she rejected his refire for being soupy and messy, and after realizing that things were spiraling out of control, she decided to step up as a leader more, and Milly’s third attempt was accepted thanks to her assertiveness. Then, Sous Chef Andi brought up a sea bass instead of a halibut on order, and she failed to notice it until Ramsay pointed it out. Despite that, food was leaving the kitchen.

After service, Ramsay asked the final four to decide on two people that did not deserve to be in the final two. During deliberation, Meghan believed that everybody beasted out, wanted to go against the best, and announced that her decision was Michelle, with T and Michelle voicing out their desire to have her in the final two.

Meghan announced that she thought neither Milly or T deserved to be in the finals as they lacked the finesse. After Milly's elimination, Ramsay named her the first finalist for her rock-solid performances throughout the competition and was joined by T as the second. After Michelle's elimination, Ramsay told the final two that they were in one hell of a finale and revealed that there was somebody he wanted them to meet. Then, a silhouette was shown through Ramsay’s office, and the episode ended as a cliffhanger.[15]

Episode 16[]

Main article: Episode 1416 - Winner Chosen

Continuing from the previous episode, Meghan was shocked to see Season 10's Christina, and when going back to the dorms to pack for Las Vegas, she was carried the entire way by T. Then, she said that she almost swallowed her tongue in shock, before calling it the best Vegas trip ever. At Las Vegas, she was amazed at how sexy and sleek Gordon Ramsay Steak looked. Returning to Los Angeles, she was given a ride to Ramsay's office in the Rolls Royce, asked if anybody would pinch her, and called his house inviting. however, it was soon revealed that it was not actually Ramsay's house, and it was the stage for the final challenge.

During the Final Menu Challenge, Meghan said that she needed to win the challenge, and while she acknowledged T as a strong chef, she declared that the latter was going down. On the cold appetizer round, her toasted scallop carpaccio with a citrus vinaigrette was deemed nice fresh but criticized for not having enough seasoning, and she scored 7 points. On the hot appetizer round, her miso-marinated abalone was praised for having the sauce work well with the dish, and she scored 9 points. On the fish entrée round, her bacon-wrapped trout was praised for being delicious but criticized for leaving the skin on the trout, and she scored 8 points. On the chicken entrée round, her roasted chicken and terra root risotto was deemed lovely and appetizing, and she scored 9 points. Finally, on the beef entrée round, her New York striploin with sweet corn purée and chimichurri sauce was cooked perfectly, and she scored 8 points. She lost the challenge to T 41-42.

Because Meghan lost the challenge, she was left with the last pick of her brigade. She picked Michelle as her first pick, Alison as her second, Josh as her third, and was left with Randy. Back in Hell's Kitchen, she was looking for a missing page from her portfolio and left her chefs were stunned by the high-end dishes. During prep, she told her team to ask questions if they did not understand her, and while she was concerned about prepping for a service of a lifetime, she was confident that her menu would taste amazing, before chiding Josh for leaving his pot unattended and having it boil over.

During dinner service, Meghan said that she wanted service to be flawless, and rejected Michelle's scallop carpaccio for lacking relish. When moving onto entrée, she was determined to make sure every fucking detail was seen and told Alison about reworking her garnishes. However, Ramsay lectured her to let the food come to her, and not hover over her chef’s stations. After Randy served raw chicken, she found out that most of his chicken was overcooked, before ordering him to make new ones. However, she caught Randy putting the sliced chicken in the oven, lectured him about it, and after getting annoyed by his slow speed, she told Michelle to go on meat while demoting Randy to dessert. It paid out as Michelle got the chicken refire approved, and she felt that it was a good move. After service ended, she admitted that win or lose, she learned a lot in the competition.

Back in the dorms, Meghan said that despite knowing she had the heart and the drive, she wanted to prove to herself that she was a badass, before calling T a beast and that she was happy to have gone up against her in the finals. When she and T were called to Ramsay's office, he praised her for her strong performances in both challenges and services, before stating that she was born to work in a kitchen. Then, she stood in front of a door, knowing it would open only if she was the winner. After waiting nervously for Ramsay's countdown to end, she turned the handle, and her door opened.

Meghan became the winner of Hell’s Kitchen, and won the Head Chef position at Gordon Ramsay Pub and Grill at Caesars Atlantic City, with a salary of $250,000. She was happy she got to share her victory with her mother, even breaking into tears describing it, before thanking her for teammates for working with her and hanging her portrait on the Wall of Fame. During the celebration, Michelle told her to let her know about a pastry chef opportunity, she said that the Taste It Now Make It Challenge was her favorite, and Ramsay jokingly asked her what her favorite punishment was.

Ramsay's comment: "Meghan has every quality I look for in a head chef. She is passionate, determined, and has an amazing palate. But most importantly, Meghan is a born leader who makes every chef in the kitchen better. Talent like hers comes along very rarely and I have no doubt she'll be a great success in Atlantic City."
