Mark Paras was a contestant on Season 15 of Hell's Kitchen. He ranked in 18th place.
When he entered the competition, Mark was very confident as it was his dream of winning Hell's Kitchen. But, in the kitchen, he was a terrible performer, lacking the knowledge and doing the same mistakes over and over.
Season 15 Edit
Arrived in Las Vegas, Mark was excited to be there as he declared winning Hell's Kitchen was his destiny. He was also surprised to see his face on the Las Vegas Marquee. During the Signature Dish Challenge, he was the third person of the blue team to have his dish judged by Ramsay, and went up against Dannie. He served black mussels with chorizo and tomatoes. Ramsay deemed them cooked to fuck, and he only scored 1 out of 5. Despite that, the blue team won the challenge 24-22, and they were rewarded with a 360 view of Las Vegas in the High Roller, as well as being VIP guests at Drai's Nightclub for the night.
During dinner service, Mark was on the appetizer station with Hassan. At one point, he burnt a pizza, which Ramsay deemed disgusting. Later, Eddie helped him as he was struggling, but his risotto was under seasoned and bland, and Ramsay ordered him to eat his mistake with Eddie. The blue team lost the dinner service.
Mark was the blue team's first nominee for elimination, with Kevin being the second. He was eliminated for being the worst performer of the night.
Ramsay's comment: "Mark was a disaster from the start. The best thing I saw from him was his back as he walked out the door."
- "I've dreamed of winning Hell's Kitchen for so long, it's honestly my destiny. But, I never thought my face would ever end up on the Las Vegas Marquee!"
- "I'm ready to be here, and I'm ready to show you that I'm here for you. It's a big thing for me to be here, and it's just very overwhelming, Chef."
- (After being eliminated) "I didn't expect this at all. I came in thinking that I was gonna be on top, and here I am first to be kicked out. Every part of me wishes I could come back tomorrow, you know. It's hard."
